Flashback Friday

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Flashback Friday.  I finally found some pictures I want to share. Being at my daughter’s school this morning kind of made me miss teaching. So today I’m going to share some pictures from my classrooms over the years. I taught kindergarten and first grade off and on.  I loved teaching and I loved decorating my classroom! So much fun!

Five little reindeer singing a reindeer song!

(I was pregnant with Courtney in this picture. This is when I taught kdg. in Edmond, OK. It was December of 1997.)

Christmas was always fun in the classroom especially when I taught at a Christian school and we could celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

I wish I could have found a picture of the whole barn I made. It had hay and a hen. I loved it. It took hours to make!

My little farmers!

I took an old bathtub and painted it like a watermelon and made it my listening center. Every year it was always a big hit! The kids loved it. And, of course, it was so darn cute!

You were an absolute natural, getting the best from each of us in the family who taught. I know your grandmother smiled on you constantly! Perhaps God will call you to guide young minds again as you model for them how to show the love we are commanded to do. I pray you will follow the steps set before you.
Love,
Mom
