Last week was a busy, fun week! Thursday night I got together with my Bunco girls and we went to Los Cabos on the Riverwalk in Jenks, OK. We had a blast!! This band, Sextion 8, was playing and they were really good. They played a lot of 80’s. I so *heart* the 80’s.
We laughed and we danced and we laughed and we danced! There’s almost nothing better than hanging out with girlfriends.

Then on Friday Brett took the afternoon off and we went to Salina, OK to Blue Hole. I hadn’t been to Blue Hole in at least 20 years. It is a spring creek. And, it is COLD!!! It’s also very clear water. And, the areas that are a darker color the water is actually blue looking. Sorry for the quality of the photos – I was using my phone!
It was THE hangout when I was in high school. It is still a VERY popular place. We went with my sister-in-law and her two girls. The kids had a wonderful time. We are already looking forward to going back.
Yes, that would be my husband and me. I know, I know, we GLOW! But, you can see where the water turns really blue behind us. It gets deep there. You can see my niece swimming in front of us. That water is shallow and perfect for the kids to play in.
If you are ever in the Tulsa area then I’d highly recommend Blue Hole in Salina, OK and Los Cabos at either location, Broken Arrow or Jenks, OK.
Both places offer lots of fun for the whole family. Or, lots of fun for a girls day out!

That swimming hole looks fun and really pretty. I'll have to see if we have anything like that around here.
